President Yoweri Museveni Finishing its two-day visit in Tanzania and return home Uganda

President of the Republic of Uganda,
Hon. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has assured the President of the United Republic of
Tanzania, Hon. Dr. John Beer Magufuli been willing to lay the foundation stone
of the project for the construction of an oil pipeline from Hoima in Uganda to
the Port of Tanga in Tanzania.
Hon. President Museveni made the
remarks yesterday on February 26, 2017 in the International Airport of Julius
Nyerere in Dar es Salaam when he parted with his host, Hon. President Magufuli
after completing his official visit to governmental 2 days and returned here in
Uganda.
"We had a good conversation with
the Hon. Magufuli President, we have discussed a lot of things, especially
about the construction project of the oil pipeline, we have agreed with the
Hon. President so much, and now we are going to lay the foundation stone for
the construction of the project "said Hon. President Museveni.
Hon. President Museveni arrived in the
country yesterday morning 25th February 2017 where he held talks with his host,
Hon. President Magufuli yesterday visited two factories owned by a businessman
of Tanzania Mr. Said Salim Bakhresa which is the factory of production of wheat
flour available Buguruni and juice production factory located in Dar es Salaam
Vingunguti.
Besides investing in Uganda the
businessman has also been sent to the bulk of his products in Uganda.
With Hon. President Magufuli other
officials were present at the farewell Hon. President Museveni included Vice
President Hon. Samia
Suluhu Hassan, Prime
Minister Hon. Kassim
Majaliwa and leaders of
defense and security agencies.
