Yusuf Manji admitted again to JKCI

After getting guarantees Resident
Magistrate's Court judge yesterday, a prominent businessman in the country,
Yusuf Manji, lying back on the Heart Institute Jakaya Kikwete (JKCI) located at
the National Hospital Allied.
According to a statement certified by
the Institute Relations Officer yesterday, Anna Kikinda, Manji was brought to
the hospital on Thursday evening as shortly after receiving guarantees against
cases of drug abuse of heroin.
"It really Manji here, was brought
yesterday evening (Monday) for treatment where until today (yesterday) I speak
to you here is still lying is undergoing treatment as usual," said Anna.
This is the second time for Manji who
is also a counselor for Ward Central Mbagala, admission to the institution.
The first time was on February 12, this
year he admitted that he appeared in the Central Police Station in Dar es
Salaam, where he had held since February ninth was interviewed.
The businessman himself had arrived at
the police station due to a summons issued by the Regional Commissioner of Dar
es Salaam, Paul Makonda, who mentioned 65 names of people he claims are
involved in the drug trade.

Yesterday Thursday, Manji appeared in
Resident Magistrate's Court judge, where his counsel magistrate in charge of
the Tribunal, Cyprian Mkeha.
The clerk of the court, Sarah Mulokozi,
his charge was read to the accused in which he alleges that between February 6
and 9, this year at Sword Sea View in Dar es Salaam, Manji drugs used form of
heroin.
The accused denied the charge and
Assistant Director of Public Prosecution (ADPP), Osward Tibabyekomya, claimed
that the investigation of this case is still incomplete and asked the Court to
arrange another date for mention.
On the defense who is Alex Mgongolwa
and Hudson Ndusyepo, the defendant asked the court to give him bail because the
charges against him yanadhaminika.
Judge Mkeha said the accused will be
out on bail may be required to sign a document guarantees Sh 10 million with a
trustee a reliable where the Secretary General of the League of Yanga, Charles
Mkwasa, was the sponsor Manji, who was released on bail until March 16.
