CCM to build a world class university

The ruling Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) plans to build a world class university to offer trainings in political science, a senior official said in Dodoma Sunday.

CCM Ideology and Publicity Secretary,Mr Humphrey Polepole, announced at the party’s national congress the plans are underway for the East African oldest political party to set-up a higher learning institution in the country that will offer trainings to aspiring new generation of politicians.

“CCM is a big party and we have decided this year to start process to construct a high-standard university,” he said during his introductory remarks at the meeting.

The meeting is bringing together party members and are anticipated to make mega-reforms within the party.
