TFF officials acquitted as 25m/- case dumped

Two senior officials with the Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) Martin Mecky and Juma Matandiko, who were facing a 25m/- bribery case have been acquitted of the charge.
Principal Resident Magistrate Huruma Shaidi, presiding over the case at the Kisutu Resident Magistrate's Court in Dar Salaam, allowed the duo to walk scot-free today.
The Magistrate ruled in favour of the two officials after the prosecution under the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB) failed to establish prima facie case against the accused persons.
