Arusha regional police get 10 guns and 59 shots

Arusha regional police been able to get a total of ten guns of four different types, including Sub-Machine Gun after six two-week operation that began on 15.02.2017 in the Ngorongoro district.
Delivering the report to the press yesterday morning, the
commander of the Arusha Regional Police Deputy Commissioner (DCP) Charles
Mkumbo said such weapons were found in the villages of Olorieni Magaiduru,
Oldonyosambu and Sale divisions existing in Loliondo and Sale.
He said these achievements were due to the confidential
information that included the that some people possess weapons of war so
interviews edge between the troops of police and community leaders and asked
them to surrender arms wherever they were convinced that these weapons passed
on the police force.
Noting villages that these weapons were obtained that are
Olorieni Magaiduru weapons were obtained 56 kinds of Chinese numbered one SMG
MT. 70B 1 2730021 and shot 21 armed with a variety of Semi Automatic Rifle
(S.A.R) numbered 250,374 KN with four bullets.
In the village of Oldonyasambu was found armed form of Mark
IV with numbers ZKK 5602 with four arms kinds of Chinese 56 Sub-Machine Gun
(SMG) composed and shot 19. Armed those four is Chinese 56 SMG numbered RT
7663, a second gun numbers it is 563631144 and the other two guns were not
supported by numbers.
Mkumbo commander said in the village of Sale weapon 56 kinds
of Chinese numbered 89,020,539 SMG with 15 bullets in the magazine was acquired
along with other weapons which are two different S.A.R numbered 25,032,534 and
Mark III numbered 263,126.
Moreover commander Mkumbo urged citizens who possess
firearms illegally must be return back immediately to local offices, villages
and even police stations any nearby as he issued a warning to those who are
recalcitrant and they found them strong action legal will be taken against
them. He said the operation is ongoing and will be in different parts of this
region and not only Ngorongoro district.
