NIDA officials fraud case in DPP's hands
The outcome of the trial of senior officials with National Identification Authority (NIDA) facing 1.2bn/- abuse of position and economic charges at the Kisutu Resident Magistrate’s Court in Dar es Salaam remains in the hands of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
A prosecutor with the Prevention and Combating of Corruption Bureau (PCCB), Mr Leonard Swai, told Principal Resident Magistrate Respicious Mwijage today that the prosecution’s case file has been taken to the DPP to review the evidence that has so far been gathered on the matter.
